While NFTs are known as digital collectibles, a play-to-earn metaverse game based in space strives to prove the utility of digital assets can also be seen in creating immersive experiences.

Despite the fact that nonfungible tokens (NFTs) have grown in popularity, they appear to have a tiny audience, mostly limited to individuals already involved in the cryptocurrency sector. One of the key reasons for the low adoption rate is that the underlying technology is only valued for its capacity to be added to a collection. However, many people are unaware that the use of NFTs extends far beyond digital art. For a populace hungry for adventure, NFTs can also be used to generate online experiences and games.
Unlike collecting, games that entertain focus on a user’s ability to learn, put their strategic decision-making to the test, and allow them to socialise. Gamers can monetise their time by combining these options with the play-to-earn (P2E) concept.
Traditionally, any time or monetary investments made by a gamer would be lost when they stopped the game. Gamers may sell what they collect in the game via the blockchain, effectively turning their video game spending into investment. While more game creators are dabbling in the NFT domain, most blockchain games this generation are less intriguing and entertaining than traditional video games.
DEEPSPACE (DPS), a platform positioned as a revolutionary platform in the making, intends to create a large-scale P2E game on the Binance Smart chain that addresses these issues (BSC). “We’re all gamers, and we’re going to design a game that will immerse and engage players,” members of DEEPSPACE (DPS) say when asked about their team’s objectives.
Exploring the galaxy by starship
DEEPSPACE (DPS) provides various immersive experiences for users, including the opportunity to modify in-game assets, explore a new cosmos, and battle other players. DEEPSPACE (DPS) invites gamers to take control of their own starship and explore the galaxy. Users will be able to mine, build, battle, and customise their spacecraft in a variety of ways. Any changes made could be for a variety of reasons, including adding value or improving their fight chances.
The NFT marketplace will be the first part of the game to launch, according to the DEEPSPACE (DPS) platform. Players can purchase and sell land, weaponry, spacecraft, and other commodities on the marketplace to aid their exploration of the platform. As players progress through the game and develop their characters, they can obtain value.
The marketplace is linked to the rest of the DEEPSPACE (DPS) platform, allowing players to quickly connect with others who are looking for items to trade in order to advance in the metaverse game. Aside from exploration, players can engage in combat scenarios such as player versus. player (PvP) and player vs. enemy (PvE) (PvE). Users can battle each other in player vs. player scenarios with the goal of obtaining rare resources, places, or other desirable spots in the solar system.
The DEEPSPACE (DPS) universe is divided into multiple planets, each of which is partitioned to form the in-game property. Property sales will be conducted through a marketplace auction, with prices varying according to their size and resource refresh rates. Additionally, property may be given away at random or through market campaigns to maintain an equal balance of property owners.
Because any in-game landowners can earn fees from guests collecting resources on their planets, any property purchased will also function as a play-to-earn element of the metaverse game
Continued participation
The DEEPSPACE (DPS) team thinks that gamers should have complete control over their in-game assets. As a result, players are incentivized to stay involved in the game economy, which will continue to generate and contribute value for other players and investors.
The team has already put in additional effort to establish the community, asset designs, 3D modelling, and the NFT marketplace since the token’s introduction on Aug. 23. They do, however, share a commitment to continuous improvement and community engagement.
DEEPSPACE’s (DPS) game mechanics, infrastructure, asset designs, 3D modelling, concept designs, metaverse mythology, community, and tokenomics have all been heavily worked on since the token’s introduction on August 23.
The alpha version of the metaverse game will be released on a testnet the week of December 27, with subsequent releases following. The team intends to continue to develop and grow the platform.
